I PROMISE

I had , in the recent past , wrote this about some one near and dear to my heart.  I now want to post it. It's not much but are the words that came to my mind about this person... anyway here it is...


Walk within the grace of your spirit,


Let our hands unite, touching

palm to palm, fingers embraced,

journey together, and let your eyes

behold the majesty

of the soul, grasping all its beauty  and promise.



The destination will

show itself

when it is

ready.



With my lips, I will kiss away

the teardrops that never should have been trickling down your face...



With my ears, I will hear the things

you can't always say and listen

when you don't have the words... understanding the silence that prevails.



With my eyes, I will see the

parts of you that no one else has

ever seen before and tell you how

beautiful you are  inside and out so that you can

see it, too...



With my arms, I will hold you close

to me and make up for all the times

you should have been held... and for the times  you were misunderstood especially by me.



With my heart and soul, I promise

I will love you just as you are and were meant
